RESOLVED - Canvas Outage due to AWS Incident

Resolved - 8PM EST Access Restored

At 8:00PM (EST) the AWS outage was resolved. Canvas access is now available once again.

Canvas, Yale’s learning management system, is unavailable at this time due to an unexpected service AWS outage. The vendor, Instructure, is aware of the problem and actively investigating to restore service. The Media Library (Panopto), integrated with Canvas, is also unavailable due to Panopto’s reliance on Canvas to authenticate / login its users.
