Canvas is getting a new look, just in time for the 2016 summer session!
The new user interface offers improved ease of navigation to Canvas’s most important tools for course management, and it has been specially designed to display well on a variety of screen sizes, including mobile devices.
The screenshot below highlights the two most significant changes: the Dashboard (1) and the Global Navigation Menu (2). The Dashboard defaults to the course view, which provides easy access and activity notifications for your favorite courses. Each course has its own colored card, which you can customize to suit your preference. The Global Navigation Menu provides quick links to all Canvas areas, including the Inbox for writing email to your class and a global calendar of all events in your course sites. This menu can be accessed from any area in Canvas.
